Hear Our Prayer is a deconstructed cross which holds written stories from my childhood, documenting different moments where my deferment from faith began. The cross acts as a representation of my former self, where I felt malcontent towards my upbringing in religion and theology in general. The stories are presented on notebook paper in my own hand-writing to emulate the journaling I did in my youth, often in college-ruled notebooks in-between class or at home during reflection.
