Into the Unknown

Into the Unknown is a series of relief prints that explore the atmosphere of the translated image. Each print takes a section of cardboard sculpture from the installation Somewhere, Not Here and transforms it back into a two-dimensional image. Each sculpture was originally created on the 2-D plane through the use of Autocad and than printed to become the 3-D sculptures that exist in the installation space. These works bring the illustrations back home into their original planes while creating a strange space of layering for the viewer to exist in.
